Rotimi is the Principal and Founder of Rotimi Ogunlade & Associates, a corporate, commercial and litigation law firm situated in Lagos, Nigeria.

He is a versatile and dynamic Legal Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the legal practice industry. He graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye, Ogun State in 2009 before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Bwari Abuja where he obtained his BL degree. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011 and enrolled at the Supreme Court of Nigeria in the same year. Due to his strides in the legal profession, he was appointed as a Notary Public in November 2020 by the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

He started his legal practice as a youth corps member in the firm of J-K Gadzama &Partners, Abuja and upon completing his compulsory youth service, he was retained by the firm due to his impressive performance and transferred to the Lagos branch of the firm where he worked assiduously until he set up his firm.

An ardent litigator, he has conducted civil and criminal litigation proceedings and appeals in superior courts in the country and has been involved in other commercial transactions. He was appointed as a receiver by AMCON in 2017, he was among the legal team who worked on the liquidation of the defunct PHCN. He has served as external counsel to Royal Exchange Finance Company Limited, Royal Exchange Microfinance Bank Limited, Reliance Microfinance Bank Limited, Parkway Microfinance Bank Limited, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Staco Insurance Plc., Greenpeg Nigeria Limited, 54Gene Limited and is currently the company secretary of several private limited companies.

He is passionate about continuing legal education and has attended law trainings, conferences and seminars within and outside the shores of the country.

His areas of interest include corporate and commercial transactions, general litigation, intellectual property, information technology, debt recovery, real estate, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution, wills, probate and administration of estates, investment law, air and space law, and child’s right and matrimonial causes.

He started his legal practice as Counsel with the law firm of J-K Gadzama, LLP (Abuja Head Office) where he distinguished himself through hard work and meritorious service. He has worked in several other reputable and cognate law firms as a Junior Associate.

In his brief but eventful career as a Legal Practitioner in Nigeria, he has represented many organizations in various capacities, notably among which are Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) in winding-up petition proceedings and handled debt recoveries for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) under the Asset Management Partner program.

He has attended seminars and workshops on corporate governance and has conducted training for lawyers in Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund and Jigawa State justice sector. He was appointed as a Notary Public by the Chief Justice of Nigeria in 2021.

He has unique and competitive wealth of experiences in drafting: of demand notice letters, statutory letters, sundry conveyance documents, lease/mortgage deeds, court processes. Court/Administrative Skills: defended and prosecuted civil and criminal cases from the Upper Area Court to the Court of Appeal in FCT, Delta State, Adamawa State, Plateau State and Nasarawa State, Police Stations, office and client care services/management.

Uly as she is popularly called is an accomplished litigator who has practised in the Federal, State and Appeal Courts throughout the country. She has vast experience in the commercial sector and has successfully represented diverse clientele in a broad range of complex business and stock market related disputes.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye,
Ogun state and attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. She was admitted into the Nigerian Bar in 2011.
She started her legal practice as a Junior Associate at M. A. Bashua & Co. where she handled a lot of high profile transaction and cases. She was able to rise to the position of a Senior Associate, before she left to join the firm.

Her areas of specialization are commercial law, corporate governance, investment law and investment related disputes and civil litigation.

Kemi is an intelligent and diligent Legal Practitioner who provides legal solutions to clients at a more junior level within the firm.
She has garnered experience in corporate legal practice working on transactions and preparing legal drafts among other distinctions in the field. She helps majorly investment companies and companies in the power sector to examine appropriate legal procedures to avoid legal risks in order to achieve and ensure compliance with their respective regulators. She is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree and a BL and upholds the basic tenets of the legal profession in order to produce tangible results. Regardless of the task, she ensures that excellent results are produced.
She began her professional career as a youth corps member in the firm of Rotimi Alli & Co, an Ibadan based law firm which provides legal services to corporations and large enterprises. Upon completing her mandatory youth service, she was retained. After putting in some months of extra service to the firm, she decided to relocate to Lagos where she joined the firm.
